Information North Hennepin Community College does not have child care on campus. However, students can find information about child care online at http://mnchildcare.org/index.php. This site has information about in-home child care and care centers, as well as child care assistance. The resource is partially funded by the MN Department of Human Resources, so it does not promote one child care option over another. This allows the family to use the information to make a decision based on what is best for their children.
In addition, eligible students can pursue financial assistance for child care through the Post Secondary Child Care Grant Program. This program helps low income students with young children pay for child care while they attend classes.
